Starting this week we welcome Mrs. Szekeres into our classroom for the next 5 weeks! She is a student teacher from Lakehead University and we look forward to learning from her :)

Feb 13th-17th


Last Friday we went on a field trip to Springwater to learn outdoor winter survival skills from the First Nation's perspective. We all took away skills of how we could use the trees to provide us with medicine, shelter and heat. Below are some images from the day.

I can't believe we are almost into 2nd term! It's been an action packed couple weeks and we have more to come :) Just recently, we had "Scientists in the Classroom". January 16-20th

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Welcome to our 2017 school year! Our first week back to school was a quick one! On Friday we had to reschedule our gym period because we had an presentation/performance first period on mental health, focusing on anxiety. It was a great presentation and everyone seemed to enjoy it. In the afternoon we had our last gym period by enjoying the great outdoors in the Ardagh Bluffs. Here are some pictures!
